I signed up for a newsletter way back in 2019, when a random guy in a Slack community told he is curating Airbnb deals over email. Naturally, I signed up immediately.

Fast-forward 6 years later - I am now talking to that guy, who is literally bananas. Chris Cerra (pronounced ‘Cherra’!) runs Remotebase, a newsletter putting together Airbnb long-stay deals for digital nomads. He also runs Mad Bananas Media, where he helps newsletter creators get unstuck in their creator journey.

I sat down with Chris to make him spill his guts on how he built RemoteBase over the years, especially through COVID. He was generous with sharing notes, and candid about the decisions he made, as he built out a portfolio of newsletters in this time.
